The part leading up to that doesn&#39;t sound pleasant at all though. I mean, it&#39;s like, I&#39;m not at all concerned that I&#39;m gonna be judged or whatever by some magic sky-king. If anything I&#39;d prefer weighing my heart against a feather or something. Called it macaroni.<br /><br />At least I have some time to think about these things and sort them out. Maybe this whole thing was nature&#39;s way of getting me to change my life, and I&#39;ll end up being fine and much better for it. It&#39;s completely understandable to complain, rant, just get shit off your chest, or whatever. Not to be a downer or anything, but i don&#39;t think most atheists are any less afraid of death than the rest of us. Contemplating your own mortality is difficult for everyone. It is a goal of mine to no longer fear death by the time i get there, personal development goal i guess. I can imagine the pain and anxiety being overwhelming at times with even with the healthy lifestyle mods. Those doctors should give you some drugs.
